50 State US Presidential Race Synopsis -- Alabama

Hey, folks. As promised, here is the first synopsis of all 50 states of the United States Presidential Race. We are going to look at every state, whether or not they will be competitive.

Today, we will look at Alabama.

Alabama is a state with 9 Electoral Votes and will hold its presidential primary on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 as part of Super Tuesday.

Alabama is not going to be competitive at all. It is a solid Republican stronghold. It went 63-37 for President Bush in 2004 over Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts. The Democrats have nary a shot at even touching 40% in this state, no matter who they put up.

Tomorrow, I am going to discuss Alaska, and then each day, we will go right down the alphabet each and every day.
